One moment of Irish female success I’m proud of is that of Countess Markiewicz becoming the first female to elected as an MP in 1918.

Although an obvious choice, my favorite Spring flower is the Daffodil. You know it’s Spring and that Winter is over when you seem them coming up in your garden and personally they make me smile from ear to ear cause their so yellow and happy looking! 🙂

They are incredible for photos and look amazing on sunny days.

So for that reason, my favorite Spring flower is the Daffodil!

I love snow drops! they are so pure and delicate and pretty – I love the way they grow in little clumps under huge trees, bringing a little glow of spring to the dreary end of winter 🙂

My birth Flower is the Sweet Pea or Daisy! Both Simple and plentiful but cheerful chaps! Although I love the the big colorful daisies, I’d prefer the Sweet Pea – it reminds me of my nana’s garden

Just found out that my Birth flower is the Poppy. I like their colour but it’s a pity that they don’t survive for very long in a vase !
