My favourite thing to do on a sunny spring day is walk my dogs! Its so rewarding to see both of them out and about and great exercise for me! Then we all crash out when we get home with well deserved drinks of water.

My favourite thing to do in the Spring is go down to our secret lane and pick beautiful wild garlic. It’s perfectly in season now. Then I would spend a very pleasant afternoon turning it into wild garlic pesto or wild garlic olive oil.

Love getting stuck into the garden and making that spring clean of the garden. The excitement of seeing new seeds break through the seeds. I even love the pruning as it’s so satisfying after you do it!

I love to invite friends over for a garden spring clean, its amazing how many hands make light work….then have some food, turn up the music & have fun. Its amazing how the sun brings the happiness out of everyone 🙂

My favourite thing to do in Spring is to dust off my demi johns and restart my passion for country side homebrewing. I use what ever is in season. So this month is will be my own rhuabarb champagne to be brewed along with my supersweet parsnips from the garden which makes the most delicious wine. Soon it’ll be the exitement of seeing the first elderflowers in season for delicious elderflower cordials and champagnes. Spring is just a wonderful time of year. Nature’s bounty know’s no end!

It has to be Bazzment Jaxx “do your thing” It was playing at Oxegen 2005 when I got talking to a random girl in the crowd and got talking about how fantastic they were. One year later after lot’s of romantic dinners and flowers we were married! There was someone else at the wedding too our unborn daughter who is named Daisy as she is such a precious flower to us! Listening to this song always takes us back.

For me it has to be easy listening on a lovely Spring Day. I like nothing better that to be out in my front garden planting and nurturing my beautiful and sacred space. My music selection contains Gabrielle and her delightful song “Dream” Also the Lighthouse Family and their great songs “Lifted” and “High”

I love “Music for a Found Harmonium” by Penguin Cafe Orchestra. It featured in “It’s All Gone Pete Tong” and “Napoleon Dynamite”. It gives me a spring in my step!
