Summer time is peak season for florists across the world…
You can give flowers as a gift for birthdays, weddings, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, as a thank you or just out of the blue as a token of your appreciation. There is never a time when someone does not want to receive flowers as a gift, making them one of the most universal gifts one can give. The act of giving flowers in one that is loved by both the receiver and the giver. The giver loves to give flowers as a gift simply to see the smile on the person the receivers face.
The reason for the timelessness flowers have as a gift if due to the emotions one gets when they receive flowers as a present. You suddenly have a gigantic smile on your face that will not go away, no matter how foul your mood was before you received a beautiful bouquet of flowers you will always be smiling afterwards. One feels appreciated and loved the second they are gifted a nice bouquet. To feel appreciated is one of life’s great desires and nothing says this better than bouquet of your favourite flowers. Whether you like tulips, roses, carnations, lilies, daisies or daffodils you will find it hard to be in a foul mood after receiving a nicely arranged bouquet. I came across a quote recently that summed up how much people adore flowers;
“I’d rather have roses on my table than diamonds on my neck,” Emma Goldman.
Flowers do not have to be the most expensive bouquet available to make someone happy. Even one single rose can do the same trick as bouquet that costs €100. It is the thought that counts, this statement is said so much but never is this statement truer than when it comes to the act of giving flowers. Simply give your mum, dad, sister, friend or partner one single rose or a simple bouquet and they will be so very grateful and extremely happy. For your partner/wife there are so many occasions you can give flowers; for her birthday, Valentine’s Day, arrival of a baby, to say I am sorry, as a thank you, Mother’s Day, get well soon, for a special date or simply to surprise her.
